Vitamin B6 is totally different from choline. Choline is a nutrient, but it is filed among B vitamins sometimes.
People usually take from 50 to 500 mg vitamin B6 for LDing. A study, that proved the effect of Piridoxin on dreams, used 250 mg pills. Quantities over 350 mg are considered to be dangerous for long-time use. It is important to have (5-hydroxy)Tryptophan in your system for vitamin B6 to work. However if you use Tryptophan or 5-HTP pills, you should avoid higher doses of B6 (because of seretonine syndrome ; 20mg B6 with 100mg 5-HTP should be safe, I have tried 10mg B6 with 125mg 5-HTP without any harmful effect personally).
I suggest to take vitamin B6 before bed. Some people recommend to take it on WBTB.
