      Post Choline vs CDP Choline

      So.. to begin, before I make myself look foolish, what is the difference, if any, between Choline and CDP Choline? Is CDP Choline just a stronger and more potent form of Choline?

      Also, what are the benefits, if any, of taking just Choline or CDP Choline without any other supplement? The studies I've seen seem to be performed mostly on patients with disorders or trauma, or they were performed on animals such as rats.

      Is there a noticeable effect from taking Choline/CDP Choline in regards to memory and dream recall/vividness?

      How long should I take such a Choline/CDP Choline supplement to see the effects?

      Lots of questions, I know. Don't feel obligated to answer all of them in one post. Any information you may have to offer is appreciated.

      There are a few types of choline donors to make Acetylcholine, they are rated on their ability to convert into Acetylcholine in the brain. From weakest to strongest (more or less).

      PhosphatidylCholine
      Choline (As bitartrate, Chloride, and Citrate)
      DMAE
      CDP-Choline
      Alpha-GPC

      I would personally recommend Alpha GPC, it delivers Choline to the brain which can cross the blood brain barrier which makes it useful. Choline is a precursor of the acetylcholine "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acetylcholine" neurotransmitter. I normally take aroung 600mg of Alpha GPC when i'm ready to go back to sleep after a WBTB.
