      Alarms?

      Hey guys,

So, I know that dream recall can be enhanced by quite a bit if you avoid moving or opening your eyes upon waking up. Or that you can even start a lucid dream by not opening your eyes upon awakening, and trying to fall asleep back into your dream. Regardless, I had a question about alarms that could make this possible.

When I have school or just simply need to wake up for something, and I get woken up by my alarm, I, of course, need to open my eyes and reach for the alarm and turn it off. It's not like this destroys my dream recall, I can usually remember 2-3 dreams per morning on average, but regardless, I was wondering if there is an alarm that requires minimal movement and maybe even not having to open your eyes. I know that such alarms exist, I'm just not sure where I'd be able to get one, or what they're called, and perhaps I'm just bad at searching, but I couldn't really seem to find anything to fit the criteria. It seems like an alarm such as this would benefit more or less in recall and maybe even in starting LD's. Also, if you guys think this might be a good idea or just a waste of time, I'd like to hear your opinions, I just think it sounds like at least an interesting thing to investigate.

Let me know if you guys know of anything, thanks a bunch.

Check out this forum. I think there is a lots of aps that allow you to do just that.

You can use alarm, but best is to wake up naturaly, so it doesn't startle you awake.

A mantra/autosuggestion "I wake up after dream and remember it" could work.

Appreciate it gab, and sorry about putting it in the wrong section, I totally forgot about the Lucid aids section.

I also forgot about the mantra technique for it, that's a great idea, thanks for that!
