Thread: App to help you lucid dream

So most apps I've seen are alright but they cost and or don't do the job. I have found a completely free and simple app on the appstore (not sure about droid users) called "lucidity" the picture is purple back ground with clouds and a half moon incase you can't find it.

Reason I think it's worth mentioning is because of how simple yet effective it is. What it does it you set a timer 15 or 30 minutes then exit the app and you are done. Every 15-30 minutes a sound will play and a notification will pop up if you want that too and ask you are you dreaming. I just let this go on and would do a reality check every time I hear the sound and at night time I sleep with it on in hopes to hear the noise and after doing it all day you will most likely do it in your dream

(Tips) on how I got it to work as a person struggling to LD
-If you are struggling stop. Do not get mad if you dont LD and continue to do reality checks on the sound. Just relax and don't try to hard to lucid dream, but do want it and think about before you go to sleep
-Make sure when the sound goes you take full attention to it and you question your reality and forget all other thoughts just focus on your reality check. I personally would look right at my hands and see if I could push my finger through my palm while I asked myself am I dreaming? How do I get here?
-Do a WBTB. I found when I was really tired that this didn't work I would go into a deep sleep and roll out of my headphones. So to fix that just use this when you go back to sleep and are likely going into a REM soon

I am not an experienced lucid dreamer at all but that's why I felt like I should share this because of the fact that even I have gotten results. Good luck to all hope this helps!
