      Moved to Lucid Aids.

Personally, I find chronolite to be one of the best apps for lucid dreaming, due the fact that it's basically an alarm that shuts itself off automatically, and the tones it has can be combined to last something as short as 2 seconds. I use them as my first alarm, so I can wake up in a gentle way and focus on recall, and I'll use the regular iphone alarm to make sure I wake up for real.

Other apps are for example sleep cycle, or singularity. The latter one was developed by a member of DreamViews, and although is not very intuitive, it still has many useful features if you're the type of person that enjoys studying their sleep.

Another one is Reality checks, an app that can schedule alarms for reality checks in random intervals, it's the best one for the purpose that I've found so far.

I use Reality Checks™ and Dream Recorder™ (from the app store. the "™" is so that the forum doesn't auto-link those to something else). Both by the same company. Great for waking up, and with one screen tap being able to write down or speak your dream to transcribe later. Reality checks is one of my new favorite apps. I have it set to vibrate a specific pattern every hour, so when I feel it I know it's not a text or call, and can perform my checks. Great for building a pattern of doing it so you can do it in your dreams too, I've just started using it 2 days ago though, and my dreams seem to be very stubborn as I always seem to forget to do RC's... but my dream recall is remarkably high right now for me.
