      Galantamine withdrawal symptoms?

Can one suffer withdrawal symptoms from galantamine? If so, has anyone here experienced it? I've had a few LD's here and there, but I want to increase their frequency. I know that galantamine is a prescription med, that is widely used to treat complex stages of dementia. But, what (if any) adverse effects could it have on me?

Galantamine is not addictive, so I don't believe you can have any withdrawal symptoms.

What you may experience is some upset stomach. Only few people report it though. And You may have hard time falling asleep after taking it. So it's recommended to go to sleep right after you take it. It's peak effective time is one hour after taking it, so you wanna be asleep by then - either via WILD or DILD.

For lucid dreaming purposes, it's not recdommended taking it too often. Maybe every third day. But even then you should take breaks betwee them. You don't want your body to get used to galantamine, because it will lose it's effect. GM stays in your system for 24 hours and if you don't give it enough time to clear our completely, it may lose it's effect.

Here is another link about GM. http://www.dreamviews.com/lucid-aids...dangerous.html

And I'm moving this thread to Lucid Aids, where you will find more threads about GM and choline.
      Good luck.
