      Repeated timer app for Android?

I need an Android app that works as a timer (you can set it to go off multiple times every x minutes, not an alarm clock) and doesn't require me to dismiss it when the time is up, shuts itself off. Trying to find something like this on Google for the past hour is getting extremely frustrating, anyone know an app that does the above?

This is easy'ish.. I use "Alarm Clock Extreme" .. I do what you want, I set the alarm to go off at whatever times throughout the night (even set it to go off on certain days if you don't want it daily) and then you have to set it to never snooze and auto-shutoff after whatever times you want. I set mine to 30 seconds, just make it loud enough so it wakes you up and not long enough to where it annoys you. I am even experimenting with it, instead of beeps, I'm using hemi-sync music or words, currently I'm looking for a lovely girls voice that says you're dreaming or something like that so I don't even have to wake up, just hear this in my sleep and bam! ..well it's my hope anyways, just still experimenting.

I've used Awoken which is for LDers. It will do exactly what you're talking about but I never got lucid that way.

I've used that one too, but for my needs and for what he is asking for, the alarm clock I mentioned works just fine. However, "Awoken" is worth trying, you might have better results then I did with the app.

Thanks, both of you, I'll try them. Not planning to use it to wake me in the middle of the night though, it would work as a reminder throughout the day.

Awoken is good for that too and its random, you just set the number of reminders you want.

I use Awoken too. I like it for DEILD attempts.

Timers4me is an Android alarm clock that allows you to set a non-snoozing alarm clock that effectively self-cancels. I've not experimented very much with it yet. The alarm sound can be made to come on for just a few seconds, but I have found the screen stays on, so you might want to cover the phone and have it plugged in.
It is possible to plug in headphones and get it to sound through in-ear buds, but you also might need another app called Soundabout which ensures apps play through the headphone socket. Some apps only play through the main speaker even though you have headphones plugged in!
