So this morning, after having been awoken from a REM Dream from my Rem-Dreamer, I immediately turned my Gymboss on, without WBTB, to test this setting:
1 second vibration at 3min,3min,3min,15 min.
4th vibration was supposed to wake me up to see what happened, but I stopped the experience between the 3rd and the 4th anyway.
What happened:
I lost consciousness very fast, but each vibration gently pulled me back from unconsciousness, and each time my awareness was greater.
I felt that I was close to the REM, but I don't know how close I was since the 3rd vibration was yet passed by but I was still not in REM.
This experiment seams to show that even without any WBTB, when I am awoken from a late morning dream, as I move to turn the RemDreamer off and turn the Gymboss on, I have to deal with some N-REM sleep for at least 10-15 min before REM kicks in, a N-REM sleep where I loose consciousness very fast(because of no WBTB) but the delayed stimulations from the Gymboss let me stay in the game.
Vibration after vibration, arousal after arousal, I felt that my awareness was merging in but that I was relaxed enough to let the sleep process continue.
I am quite exited with this experiment.
Next time, I will try this setting :
1 second vibration : 4min,4min,4min,15min
