Hello all,

Sorry for jumping straight into this thread, but I found the flow that this thread is taking quite interesting.

I have my own views about subconscious, and have presented them in various posts on my blog - http://success-nirvana.blogspot.com. Albeit the slant there is indirect, for my focus has been "the impact of subliminal messages on the subconscious mind", my allusions to the subconscious as a _real_, though intangible concept are clear.

While you are surfing my blog, I would also recommend that you take a look at the research papers I refer to there. Neuroscientists hypothesize that neural pathways exist which link to an as-yet-unknown-area of the brain, but which get higher processing priority in tests of subliminality. My phenomenological experiences say that this as-yet-unknown-area is the subconscious.

My two pennies, for what they are worth.

Thank you SO much for that video, which kind of ties in with what I am reading. Maybe through reading and watching, and studying, and writing, etc etc, my thoughts will become habitual to set with the laws of attraction or the laws of the subconcious. Thank you all for compliments.

Sorry, but I find it extremly annoying to have to read stupid and unuseful comments in a forum like this where there really is no point or reason to behave like a total ass (actually there never is a reason for that ).

To get back on topic, I believe this to be true as well. I know after I had had my first lucid dream, I told my father about it and his reaction was something like "Wow&#33; I have been trying for ages and I have never been able to. It is supposed to be very difficult".

After that I was not able to LD again and soon I forgot all about it. I never thought about it until now that perhaps I failed because I was told it was very difficult and almost impossible and that I had probably just imagined it or been lucky.

To refer to others post as "crap" and in general being rude like most of your posts I read was, is just stupid and pointless. Except for you, so far I&#39;ve only found very nice people in here, all helpfull and positive, and there is very little reason to be otherwise.

I&#39;ll let your response speak for itself as to what kind of character you are, note that all I did was complain of your poorly written posts and that your responses are often stupid and unuseful. There is nicer ways to disagree that you should learn, and you should realize that you are surrounded by nice and friendly people so your hostile behaviour is completly unnecessary.

Actually some of that may be tue, I may be lazy. I don&#39;t know about the ignorant part though. All I know is that when I did it I did not know that it would be such a difficult thing to do.

you post annoy me greatly to but am a big headed or lazy that i give your post the special treament of reading it all instead of skipping it. you attack me first calling me a ass so you can talk.

so telling somebody a different argument then showing them where their wrong and apologing when i wrong it sound pretty constructive to me well unless you want everbody in this forum to be the same or a bunch of yes men. i would want to know if i am wrong would you it not likely that the people in this forum will read my comment and burst out and cry.

Becomingagodo, there is nothing wrong with presenting another side with evidence. It&#39;s actually a good thing to put your own input in a non aggressive way. But in all respect I must tell you I think you came on too strongly. This is not a straight-laced &#39;one way&#39; community, everyone has their own unique opinions on how things are best done. There is no reason for debates in this way to rage on. You see this is no longer a debate for honest knowledge, it has become a flame war to see whom can humiliate the other.

Some things were said about you, yes, but I do not think any personal malice was intended, rather it was a sort of commentary on your sudden aggressive opinion that you pushed on a non-debate thread. On top of this the truth cannot be hidden: Spelling is a large part of how people see you online, dyslexic or not. It is wrong to judge you on it, but I believe that is defiantly not the only factor here.

In conclusion, I plea to you, to both of you, cease this argument.

In conclusion, surely one of us is a mature enough person to not argue? Even one? If it has to be the 16 yr old then so be it.
