      Stephen

cleef, below is a previous post I'd written regarding the books that I've read that have to do with lucid dreaming.

Most I read years ago and could not quote line nor verse.. but I get something out of every book I've read and I personally don't regret purchasing any of them.

Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge
The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
Control Your Dreams by Jayne Gackenbach & Jane Bosveld
Stop Sleeping Through Your Dreams by Charles McPhee
Mutual Dreaming by Linda Lane Magallon
Creative Dreaming by Patricia Garfield, Ph.d
Pathway to Ecstacy - The Way of the Dream Mandela by Patricia Garfield, Ph.d
Out the In Door - New Techniques in Lucid Dreaming by Michael Szul
Lucid Dreaming in 30 Days by Keith Harary, Ph.d and Pamela Weintraub
The Lucid Dreamer by Malcom Godwin

I also recommend that you visit Amazon.com and read the comments or visit your library/bookstore to determine if a book is for you before purchasing.

      Hope this helps!

Not a book, but I also recommend watching The Matrix. It's not about dreaming, but the sense of control and realization that it's not real is the same.

I agree with Clairity on her two first choices (EWOLD and Rinpoche's book on traditional Dream Yoga). The other I would add to my top 3 is:

Advanced Lucid Dreaming - The Power of Supplements by Thomas Yuschak

This will give you a good idea on how to use Galantamine and Choline correctly (the closest thing to a magic LD pill anyone as developed yet), as well as other supplements which may have a positive effect.
