That's a good name huh?

My friend, who I've never talked about lucid dreaming, came up to me today saying that he found some kind of drug that you smoked or drank as tea that induced lucid dreams, made them super super vivid with lots of recall, and kept you in REM longer.

The thing I was really amazed about is that he just randomly said that to me. He didn't even know that I'm getting into LDing and all.

Anyways, has anybody tried this? It sounds "too good to be true" and probably is, and I probably won't do it. He said he's buying some and trying it though.

SKA should be able to answer this, I'm pretty sure I recall him experimenting over a period with Calea and it was pretty successful if my memory serves me well. Also it's Zacatechichi, just in case that wasn't a typo in the thread title.

I have used a 10X extract of Calea Z on many occasions. I find it works best when you combine it with Wake Back To bed.

Sleep 5-6 hours, take 1 10X pill, go back to bed.

I have never kept accurate account of how much this increases my likelihood of lucidity as opposed to just WBTB, but I am sure it helps.

As far as magic pills are concerned, stick kw/ Galantamine/Choline. That is the closest thing there is to a LD gaurantee. You just can't use it very often as your receptors get accustomed to it.

I don't think anyone really knows how/why Calea works. I don't believe you develop any major desensitization to it.

B6 and melatonin don't do that though does it?

I take B6 every now and then and thinking about getting melatonin.
