Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Galantamine just may not work for you. It doesn't work for me. I've tried it I think 6 times now, the first couple of times it worked, for extremely short LD's, OBE's, I would be having a dream, realize I was dreamining, immediatly wake up into a OBE which would end approximetly 10 seconds latter, and that was it. And it hasn't worked again, no matter if I take Melatonin with it, if I take 5-HTP before bed, then WBTB, try to WILD, or try to DILD, it just doesn't work, in fact, I have an extremely hard time returning to sleep if I don't just take it and immediatly try to go back to sleep, and if I do just try to DILD, I'll wake up a couple of hours latter, and not remember dreaming at all.
Galantamine works for some people, but it is not a guaranteed lucidity pill, and is one of the worst supplements in my case that I've ever tried. Perhaps it depends on your acetylcholine levels, in some people's case they may not need more acetylcholine and may need more of something else, dopamine, or serotonin for example. In any case choline boosting supplements in general have not done much for me, with the exception of DMAE, which caused side effects I couldn't stand.
