Sibliminals-Easy, Good way to get LD's

      Quote from my DJ:

I had at least 3 LD's last night...I think it's thanks to the subliminals that Mancon had me download last night! I get them, yes, a few a week, but rarely do I get multiple a night! I don't remember them all so clearly...so I'm just gonna say what I remember in these. There will be some holes, I'm sure.
So...I highly recomend subliminals. Basically, with subliminals, you don't necessarily need to see the text that randomly floats about your screen, but your subconsious does, and "listens" to it. Someone with more experience can explain it better! For this thread, it helps with LDing for subliminals about LDing...I am just here to say, that they greatly help! I wasn't sure how much I believed in them before...but, they do, as you can see from the quote in my DJ!

Give links to any subliminals you can download, it's fast and quick. They may not work wonders for everyone, but it certainly doesn't hurt to just take a few minutes to download! Also, share any of your experiences involving subliminals.

If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Anyone know of any subliminals that are invisible that you could link me to? The one I linked to aren't, and it's fine for me and everything...but, we don't want anyone to see them in this case...

I have an idea for Mancon's parents....

He would install some on their computer without them knowing it...and, if they had a LD for themselves, they'd have to believe it's real!

I heard that subliminals are not scientifically proven and it's just placebo. Can anyone comment on that? Not being belligerent here - would be happy to be proved wrong.
My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.

Don't forget audio-based subliminals, which can be made very easily in Audacity. Ninja also uploaded quite a few at one point, though I don't have a thread link on me.

To make them in audacity, first record your own voice speaking the subliminals as evenly as possible, roughly 5-10 seconds apart. Either use the recording program on your computer to save it as a wav file, or use option B: get a free text-to-speech program. Such programs exist, one being NaturalReader. This option is more directed at people without the ability to record their own voices. If you do use the reading software, be warned that you may have to play around with phonetics (uze instead of use, etc).

Once you have the voice file, select some music that you like, preferably of a calming nature, though almost anything will do. It is best to select a track without long pauses, dead spaces, and regions of excessive loundess/quiet. So, something with a nice, even flow. This track, if not already in .wav format, can be converted using a free sound file converter. They aren't hard to find.

In Audacity, drag-and-drop your .wav music, and then your speech recording. The music will be on one line, and the speech another. Copy/paste the entire speech file until it roughly matches that of the music. Now, here's where it gets a bit tricky: adjust the volume using the +/- decibel slider to the left of the music. The goal is to reach the point where you can no longer make out what the voice is saying. If it is too loud, it will not be subliminal. If it is too quiet, it may not work. You have some margin for error, though, so it isn't too bad.

JoS also made a thread on subliminal messages not too long ago, which I found quite helpful...although in the end, I did become used to the messages, and as best as I can tell, they are a placebo. Regardless, they worked for a while.

They work for me. Even if it is just placebo, the effect still is there. I don't know if they are scientifically proven or not though.
