      Melatonin Information

      Is there any counter effect/indication on using 3mg everyday before sleep?
      Should i use 3mg, 5mg, ou 6mg every night for having Vivid Dreams, and increased chance of Lucids? (of course with no counter indication!)

      Hmmm... I think I remember somewhere saying that 6mg is the kind of amount you should take. But really... don't take it from me My memory isn't the best.

      if anyone can tell me for sure, and tell me if is there any indications for me NOT to use melatonin, i would really appreciate!

      I seem to recall that melatonin is a REM suppressor. Are you going for REM rebound in the second half of the night?

      I think 3mg is the standard dose...

      You mean i should take 3mg in the middle of the night? Like 3am?
      i heard Melatonin increases the REM sleep, and decreases the Deep Sleep. isnt it?

      If you're interested in supplements, you should check out Advanced Lucid Dreaming by... someone. You could also try taking some before bed, then waking up in the middle of the night and taking more. Then the next night you should get extra REM rebound.

      hmmm nice.
      If i am going to sleep at 11pm, should i take it like 10pm right?
      and i wake up reaaaaaaally early... 5:45am!

      So it wont work for me if i use it during the week? just weekends will work?

      Advanced Lucid Dreaming. It's a book about lucid dreaming supplements. Melatonin is one of the things in it.

      Half an hour before going to bed is what the label of my melatonin bottle says. =P

      I don't see why it wouldn't work. It might even make you sleep longer.

      1mg of melatonin should be sufficient. I never take more than that and I sleep like a baby. Once you get to 3mg + I think you could run into dependency issues. Tread with caution.

      Im not a Pharmacutical Chemist but im pretty sure you cannot become dependent on meletonin(at least i dont think)dont mean to be an ass or anything...Ive always taken 3mgs in the past.But 1mg is a good starting dosage.
