Thread: Lucid task suggestions

Hi folks,

I've been getting lots of great suggestions for lucid tasks. If you would like to suggest something, please put it in this topic. Remember, it should be something that challenges people, but not something so difficult that our newer lucid dreamers cannot do it.

Two ideas I have are, "Defeat an entire army of monsters." and "Put theme music in the background in the dream." They're probably both a little difficult, but I imagine people could pull them off. I've done both.

Anyway I was thinking something like reaching outer space, ofcourse that would be hard for me I stink at flying, if you could just put it in, june, or july, I would like the lucid task to be climbing on a wall, for at least a little while.

Someone might have suggested this before, but: Go back in time and have a chat with dinos . This might be somewhat hard though, but would be really interesting.

Try to write a letter/postcard and send it to yourself.

Climb a giant beanstalk into the clouds like Jack!

1. have a chat with a dead freind or relitive
2. become a element like wind water or fire and such
3. become invisible and mess with DC's heads

thats all i got

Maybe one could try to vaporize the body at the ground level, rise to the sky, and then condense on a cloud. After this the dreamer could fall as rain or a strike of lightening to return to the ground. I'm not certain how difficult this would be (sounds hard to me though), as I am still quite new to the concept, but what fun!

Split the Earth in two parts

Bob for an apple, in a barrel of water. And succeed.

Colour in the enviroment.

That would be a fun one, we could have people reporting back on what coulour they made different things.

Nevermind.

Write a song or poem and post the lyrics here if you can remember them. The brain can be very creative in dreams.

Funny, I found that quite easy.. and enjoyable

1. Call Seeker on his cellphone

2. Dig a moat

3. Convince 3 different people to give you $5

4. Get the cops to chase you, with a helicopter

5. Have a baby

6. Hike the appalachian trail really fast

7. Go sandsurfing

Cause a structure to rise from the ground (a skyscraper, or maybe a huge statue of yourself)

hmm... maybe if i can control my LD i will enter my computer's monitor and appear in other's monitor! the person will be surprised to hell i think!!

Here are some I want to try...

Go to other dimensions.

Watch a concert I never saw. (I saw Jefferson Airplane perform "Won't You Try/Saturday Afternoon" at Woodstock in 1969 last summer.)

Walk around a mall and ask dream characters what the secret of the universe is.

Percieve that everything is one.

Experience extremely expanded consciousness in philosophical and artistic perception. (I did that while watching a cool looking house change sizes, shapes, and levels of aestheticism.)

Travel time and visit myself and my family. (I have done this a few times.)

Go on train rides through crazy territories.

Go to the "time before" the big bang.

Talk to God.

I've done that once before.. was quite strange.

Protect a dragon egg until it hatches.

I got one... goto taco bell, and try to order from them.. see what language they speak.

(might wanna try this in real life too, the results are funny)

Here's a couple I've enjoyed:

Take "Fox-Drop": I have asked several DC's to hook me up with drugs, so in the dream world I've tried practically everything. One DC gave me a clear jelly-like capsule and he called it "Fox-Drop", and told me it was something humans can't handle. I took it and I watched as everything became a pattern of indescribable colors swirling on a grid (way different than Salvia). I cannot describe the intense feeling of immersion I got from it. I haven't been able to do it again in a while. I guess I'll have to wait until that "dealer" comes around again .

Become a bolt of lightning and take a strike at a window. Crazy experience.
