My first WILD, as far as I know

I've been trying to Lucid Dream off an on for awhile, now. Never had any success in the past other than getting weird feelings when I've tried to WILD. I also don't keep a dream journal, even though I know I should so I've probably made it harder on myself. I may have to start keeping one though because I finally had a lucid dream a couple of hours ago.

I woke up, did some stuff for 20 minutes, then decided that some more sleep was in order. Since I hadn't been up for long I decided that I'd try to WILD again. Again, no success so I just rolled over and tried to sleep. I'm not sure how much time went by but at some point I felt.. different. I knew that I was still lying in my bed but something just felt off. I could tell I was in a dream.

When I opened my eyes I noticed that what I could see of my room looked exactly as I remembered it. Except for that giant purple teddy bear in the corner that started running at me. I have no idea what that was about, I've never even owned a teddy bear. I'll just chalk it up to weird subconscious stuff. Anyway I didn't like where that was going so I shut my eyes and ignored it for a moment and when I opened them again, it was gone.

I walked through part of my house and it looked just as I remembered it. Something strange things I did notice though are:

      - The world seemed somewhat blurry
      - It seemed as if the everything, myself included, had been slowed down a bit, like the world was running at a lower speed.
      - I couldn't hear anything

I decided that I'd try to levitate, but didn't expect to do so on my first time. As I expected, I wasn't able to. I'm not really sure what happened here, I think I started to wake up before slipping back into my dreams again because I realized I was in bed again. I opened my eyes once more (which seemed to be quite the trial now). For some reason there was a skeleton wearing a pirate hat rising from the floor. Strangely enough, this didn't bother me as much as the purple teddy bear. I closed my eyes to make it go away, opened them again with some effort, and noticed something red and spinning in the corner of my room, but I couldn't make out what it was.

Due to the difficulty I had in opening my eyes now and the fact that I didn't want to sleep too long, I decided it was time to wake up for real. It took some doing, I had to kick my legs around in order to yank myself out of the dream world.

It was an interesting experience. I'm hoping it'll be a bit easier to do now that I've done it once, and that I'll actually have normal speed and sound next time. No blur would be nice too but what I had in my dream really wasn't much at all.

IT seems you had good fun for your first WILD. A lot of people say to make sure you keep your eyes close as you will see something very weird... And there right, as I opened my eyes to and saw some scary demonic looking face staring dead at me. Big mistake on my part.

I kinda lol'd on the teddy bear, highly doubt it could do anything to harm you anyway.

Yeah, I had no idea where the teddy bear came from. I heard that you can see some frightening things. I've been watching High School of the Dead so I was afraid a zombie would eat my face or something, but instead a saw a really big stuffed bear.

If I saw that come running at me, my first thought would be... "A carebear hug"?

I've only just started trying to WILD. Last night I fell asleep though... I'll have to make my WBTB longer. I still had lucids though
