I Need A Lucid Dream Analysis Please!

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum and need some insight! I had a dream a few days ago about my common-law husband's best friend from back in the day. I only met him once, a few months back. I dreamed almost lucidly that we were extremely far away from each other in this huge, neverending dark room, but we both were aware of each other the entire time. There were quite a few people in the room, but I did not recognize anyone or see their faces. I got the feeling he was admiring me from afar, and I was doing the same. He kept looking at me and staring longingly at me. It seemed like all these different situations with the people around kept us from actually getting together in the dream. Meaning people kept talking to both of us and distracting us, but we still kept looking at each other to acknowledge each other. At one point we got close enough to kiss (just a quick peck on the lips) and then he was too far away again. At that point the dream ended. You should all know that we both live in different provinces in Canada, and when we met the first and only time, I got the feeling he was very interested in me. Almost like he wanted what he couldn't have. He kissed my hand and gave me this look like I was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. I was very attracted to him too, which was odd because I am very happy with my common-law husband. I don't really look at other men in that way, just his friend for some reason. If anyone could give me some insight on this, it would be greatly appreciated! It has been eating me up inside, almost like I cheated on my man! I usually only remember dreams when they mean something to me when it comes to real life, otherwise I forget them basically as soon as I wake up! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this!

Dreams do funny things, including show you a side of yourself that gives into desires unquestioningly. I'm not saying you desire another man, but the human mind is hardwired to be attracted to some things in the world, and it's typical to find that a person hasn't been able to completely turn off their attraction to anyone of the opposite sex after entering into a monogamous relationship - and as far as I'm concerned, it's not possible to do so. That being said, don't feel like you cheated on your man, because you certainly didn't. All you had was a dream that came from nowhere, like many dreams do. I doubt that reading into it deeper will do anything for you, and will only work against you. It was a dream. Can't say it was any more than that. Now go tell your man how much you love him.
