Did I just have a WILD without trying?

Hey guys. It's been a long time since I last posted in these forums, but I really felt like sharing that with you and asking for your opinions.

So like I have said in some of my previous posts, I'm what you'd call a natural at lucid dreams. I've always been having them without specifically trying to, they just occured every once in a while. I just didn't know they were called "lucid dreams" until I found out about them on the internet. However having a WILD without particularly trying for it is something new to me, and I'm not even sure if I've ever had a WILD before in the first place.

So, to sum things up, earlier in the afternoon, I was at a friend's house, and we were working on an assignment that is due to next week. We had to spend a whole lot of our time on it, and we had been working on it since early morning. Of course, I felt rather tired at some point, and begged my friend to maybe lie down a little on the couch, and she could wake me up, in case I fell asleep. She said it was fine to do that, and that she would work on the assignment a little more to get it done in time for the deadline.

I didn't even lie down, I just sat on the couch and closed my eyes. The whole time I was thinking of how tired I felt and what a pain in the neck the assignment had grown to be. I didn't even realize how it all happened and I was suddenly having a dream. At the same time, however, I was thinking to myself that I shouldn't sleep for long because I had to help my friend with the assignment. It was like, I was having a dream but at the same time my mind was thinking and working the way it does while I'm awake. It felt so weird to me I even questioned myself right then about it, in the dream.

The dream was far too short, and came out of nowhere. I was in a dark room, and there was this guy, who was sitting next to a window, but for some reason he seemed way too far from me. He pointed his hands towards me and smiled. I felt really attracted to him, and I gladly moved closer to him, but he still seemed too far away. Then, all of the sudden, I decided it was time to bring him closer, as I could not walk all that distance, because, like I was thinking at that moment, I had to make the dream short, so i can wake up for my assignment. So he came to me in the speed of light, and took my hand, still smiling. It felt incredibly real, and my mind at that moment was focusing on how real his touch felt like. He kept on smiling at me and our eyes met, and I was suddenly feeling the need to kiss him, so he leaned towards me and we kissed, while still holding hands.

I've never quite felt something so real in any of my other dreams before. It was so real it scared me. And the moment we kissed in my dream, (and this is embarassing to say, but I'll say it anyway) I could actually feel that my mouth slightly and slowly opened up a little. And at the same time I was worrying (in the dream, again) that my friend would turn around and see me and laugh her head off. And as this wasn't enough, I could even hear my friend at that very moment talking on the phone. I didn't catch what she was saying, but I did catch a couple of words. So even though I was certainly enjoying the dream, I told myself, in the dream "Wake up, Greta!" (that's my name) and that's when I woke up.

My friend really was talking on the phone, still, and when she finished I asked her how long I was asleep for, and she said no more than 20 minutes. I told her I had a dream of kissing someone, and she laughed and asked "Oh, is that why you made a weird sound at that point?" I was kind of embarassed, really.

So, guys, was that a WILD, or not?

That was a WILD as far as I can tell.

[X] Aware of being asleep, aware of being in a dream.
[X] Felt like you were fully awake, though you knew you weren't.
[X] Went from being awake to having a lucid dream.
[X] Consciously and rationally thinking upon the realization you were asleep.

      Seamless. Well done.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

Yes! That was a WILD. The two WILD's I've had were both without a real intention of getting them.

Thus, a good WILD tip would be: Relax!
