Strange place that inhibited dream control while lucid?

Strange place I was in while lucid...I was in a sort of diner with other lucid dreamers. The first thing that I always do when lucid is check the ground for a magnetic repulsion that not only reaffirms that I am lucid dreaming but builds my confidence to fly. This Magnetic force was no where. I tried all of the other "abilities" that I have while lucid and none of them worked. I asked the other dreamers and they said that this place - the diner - was controlled by some outside force that inhibited all dream powers. Has anyone else come across something of this nature? No. But it seems you needed a more direct hint that you do not control dreams, you can only control your reaction to dream content.

Even my reactions, other than conversation to others about the reason that this phenomenon was evident, were held back... Has not happened since!

Ah, I call them "sacred places" or "cancelors", not that hard to overcome them though, just control my energy to cast the powers!

So do you end up in these "sacred places" often? It was frustrating because I could not get anything to work! I was able to locate the source of the "outside influence" but it was a black factory, on the hill, over looking the space...How do you control your energy better? I couldn't seem to overcome anything... Liber Absurdum

Well, I make it move from inside my body to outside, then start moving things like that, also got a special power that will cancel those things to some degree, but thats another story. Don't find those a lot, think only 13 or so times.
