Multiple Realities

I am curious to know if anyone has had experiences with multiple levels of reality while dreaming? I had what felt like the longest dream ever the other morning. I fell asleep for around twenty minutes, but I felt like I was gone for a few months. In the dream there were three levels of reality. It is difficult to explain but in the second level I was searching for my mom, expect every time I tried to find her something would stop me (weapons, rodents..). Eventually I found her but I was convinced it wasn't really "her", just someone who looked like her. Then I go on to switch (like false awakening) to reality one where I am with my mom, and its still not her. She keeps trying to tell me its really her but I know it isn't. I eventually figure out that she is making us switch realities. I get really confused about which reality is real (switched nine times). I know some part of it is a dream. I try sending e-mails before I switch, to see if they "go through" to the other level. In the end I become fully lucid and have a false awakening (reality three ). I keep telling everyone I'm so glad to have woken up. Every time something makes me realize I am still dreaming. Had five false awakenings in this third reality. I keep trying my technique for waking up but it doesn't work. When I stop switching and stay in #3, I just fly around knowing eventually my alarm will go off. In and out of lucidity the whole time, felt like I was gone for months. I mean I had time to make a boyfriend, I had to walk to his house to explain what was going on every time I switched. I ate meals, went to sleep.. Anyone ever have a similar experience?

I tried to keep it as short as possible but I know it's confusing. There's a lot I left out. thats amazing!!! Maybe its your sense of time being heavily altered by the dreamstate It is the strangest feeling waking up and feeling like you've been gone for a few months. I'm still thinking about it after several days have passed. I have had dreams that have felt long, but nothing like this. EDIT: I posted this in my dream journal and it was nothing short of a novel.
