Thread: My first lucid dream, it was pretty strange :O

Howdy there ! I had my first lucid dream literally a few ours ago. It was a bit odd.

I was using no method, well kinda, just a dream journal, reality signs and a really epic Theta binaural beat.
I normally wake up in the night, so this could help it as well.

The dream was terrible what I had, but it was something.

I was in a black room when I realised I'm dreaming, I snapped and I heard loads of cheering, a bit like congratulating me on having my first lucid dream. I got freaked out and didn't know how to control the cheering, so I forced myself out the lucid dream to sleep paralysis mode. But it felt like I was partly in the dream while I was trying to awaken my paralysed body. I woke up this morning and said to myself "I shouldn't have been scared."
The cool thing is, is that I was just there, not in a human body, just there. It felt amazing.
And using that beat I used it helped me remember some of my dreams.

First off, congrats! Achieving that first LD is like.. well, I'll save the overly complicated metaphor and just say it's easier from here on in. You're right, you shouldn't have been scared. Just remember that you're dreaming and it's not real. Don't worry though, dreaming is fun. I know what you mean about the feeling. The sensation practically engulfs you and it's quite a feeling to have.

I'd love to get a link or name to the beat you were using as well. I'd like to give it a shot.
