Visiting forgotten places

While lucid are buildings accurately represented regardless of your present familiarity? Meaning, is it possible for the subconscious to create an accurate environment although you can't consciously recall specific achrictechtial characteristics? Has anyone experienced finding themselves in a long forgotten location and upon wakening discover their dreams were in fact accurately portrayed and resembling reality?

Although I'm eager to try, I haven't had the oppurtinity yet. I've lived outside my childhood home for almost a decade, and I wonder how accurate my mind's representation of this house would be considering I can't, at the moment, completely recall the home's structure.

What are your thoughts?

I've woken up and realized that i had the dream several months or years earlier in the exact same place.

These are fictional places though.

If it was your childhood home, it shouldn't be hard to remember at all.

I've had dreams similar to yours. I've just been feeling rather nostalgic and cannot wait to visit my old home in my dreams, but hope i can remember it in its fullest!
