the word dream made me lucid

I was having this dream where chucknorris and this other dude were there.
somewhere within that i said dream and all of a sudden i was lucid? weird thing was everything was really clear. Is it usually this easy for people to go lucid?
EDIT: The words that made me lucid were "this is what usually happens in my dreams" wich was for the most part true

Congrats!

It really just depends on the person. Some people pick of lucid dreaming fast while others don't. It sounds like you were aware and when you heard the word dream you looked around and realized you were dreaming. Keep it up and you will do great! Congrats, again.

Hi there my friend. Congrats on your Successful LD. You've just experienced a DILD. It's when you realized that something is amiss or strange and you start to question reality. If a person says word/s related to Lucid Dreaming, it's possible for him to remember the concept of lucid dreaming thus making him lucid. It's not really that easy though, from your account, you've only said the word "dream" randomly. So that just means the chance of you having a LD through DILD is random. But if you practice your dream recall and read a couple of articles like this: DILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views , I'm sure you'll be able to master the art of DILD in no time.
