Well last night i had my very first vivid lucid dream. I realized that i was dreaming because i looked in my bathroom mirror and saw that i had long hair (i got a short haircut yesterday) which prompted me to do a reality check. i pinched my nose and to my surprise got a nice full breath of air. I then rubbed my hands, though it wasn't too necessary because it was already real-life vivid. I was walking around my old house that i used to live in before we moved and it was identical to how i remembered it. I then looked in the family room and saw my dad sitting on the couch watching tv...except he was not watching tv, but the blank wall. I wanted to see how my dream dad reacted to an illigical statement, so i said the most random thing that came to mind: "Dad! There are spikes coming out of the cieling!!" He did not react. But what did happen was a ton of spikes coming out of the cieling right after i said that!! It scared my lucidity away and i got lost in a non-lucid fog. that is all i remember, but still...very interesting dream.
