I have had 7 LD's over 3 separate nights this week, I have soo many questions!

I will try to keep this succinct but I have soo many things I want to talk about or ask advice on. I have had a few LD's over the years but after having a whopper of an LD about 2 weeks ago I have started researching the topic online and recently found this forum (Thanks!).

In the past week I have had 3 nights with LD's and had what I believe to be 4 separate LD's just last night.

I have been practicing reality checks during the day but that has not seemed to have influenced my becoming lucid. I apparently just "realize" I am dreaming---I did take the advice I read on here to increase lucidity which was to move slowly and touch things to feel as well as see my surroundings, and also occassionally shouting out "increase lucidity"- lol as well as taking in as much detail as possible.

After reading through some of the task lists and suggestions on this forum I was able to teleport (briefly) which was incredible (I thought of a place and spun around and voila!). I also had an exhilirating high speed flight from the beach in San Diego to somewhere in Los Angeles. I also completed the task suggested to jump/fall from a distance that would normally kill you, I flew onto a tall power line and hovered down onto the top of the base and jumped off landing without even bending my knees.

I also experienced being lucid and working and partnering with other LD'ers in a close fashion. Which included going with them to an office for LD'ers who were given assignments (picture a cubicle with a LD social worker handing out assignments to 2-3 of you). I was convinced that these dream characters were other LD folks NOT just characters and it was bizarre and amazing.

Complete euphoria, I have a LOT of work to do in the areas of control, summoning, and clarity but it seems I may be a natural or just lucky?

Looking forward to progressing. I feel like I am addicted already and need answers, guidance, or just a flat-out mentor.

      Thoughts?

      Thanks,
      James

Congratulations on your succes, and welcome to DV of course! I'd like to respond to the part of just 'realizing' you were dreaming. In almost ever single DILD, the dream starts with just randomly realising you are dreaming, instead of doing a random reality check that works. It seems your stabilizing also worked out fine, which is great. Most people (very much like myself to be honest) know how to stabilize, why they should stabilize and not rush into action etc. and still fail to do it correctly. So again, congratz on your succes Hope you get a lot better and experience a lot of fun with LDing!

Well done, I'm very impressed with how many lucids you have had! I also find I randomly become aware rather than reality checks, this is probably because we have a lack of conciousness in detail of the events which caused this increased awareness!

Hm maybe just doing RCs increases your overall awareness and thats how you are becoming lucid so easy? Most people become lucid before the RC as said above, but RCs serve as means to enhance awareness, thats for sure.

      Anyway congratulations and welcome!
