      What is this? WILD?

I woke up last night (actually this morning) and dozed off again, as i was falling asleep it felt like my leg was moving towards my head. Almost like i was going to knee myself in the face! Not fast or anything just a slow deliberate movement that I wasn't making. I then realized I was laying in the opposite direction on the bed that I was seconds prior! I did a nose pinch and could breath! (Actually I did 3 and a pinch on my leg). I remember not knowing what to do, and then I awoke. Kinda mad at myself but i guess it is progress. Should I have just sat up in the bed? What exactly happened to me?

Looks like you transitioned, i guess you got an initial shock that you were dreaming so that jolted you awake but yeah.
      Science for the win.

You were over-excited and woke yourself up via adrenaline.

Usually you want to stabilize your dream by rubbing your hands, saying to yourself this is your dream and you control and or touching your dream objects.
