Was this a WILD or what?

Ok, so last night i woke up like 3 or 4 times in the night.During one of those wakings i decided to try to WILD.I closed my eyes while laying on my back and relaxed.I started seeing some bright color patterns ( hypnagogic hallucinations) then i was suddenly near a cupboard and i felt a very strange feeling like i was being transformed to a werewolf.I then opened my eyes in my bed ( in a lucid dream ) i knew it was a lucid dream because it was like noon and i felt like i was transforming into something. So i tried to open my eyes clearly in the dream but i couldn't do it.I sat for about 30 secs and then a very bright light appeared ( like the color patterns while i was trying to WILD ) and the dream collapsed.

Is the hypnagogic colors like the ones that happen when you push on your eyes and you see yellow dots flying around. Or is it different.. I wanna have a wild so baddd

Erm similar, not sure if they are the same thing. But when trying to wild don't worry about seeing anything or not, some people see it some don't, your main point of focus is to be aware during the transition into a dream.
