Honestly, in situations like this, it seems more like a clarity thing. You'll want to try and make your dream more vivid. Looking at your hands does double duty with stuff like this. It's both an RC and a clarity enhanced. Try it out! |

Ok so while struggling with sleep I had a strange lucid experience. In the room I was sleeping I got up and looked around, the other half of the room was like a general sells everything store. Because I couldn't sleep, even though I was dreaming, I decided to look around. how I realized that I was dreaming is looking at books. I picked out a Zelda book which I have never seen before and pictures started moving which made me do a RC (Nose plug). I realised that I was dreaming but it felt different for any other lucid. I didn't feel in control and I kinda felt like I wasn't lucid at all. |

Hehe I hate it when I get those experiences! Like I'll be in a classroom in my school and realize "Hey I'm dreaming, nobody would care if I just left." So I leave the classroom and carry on being non-lucid. :S |

This sort of stuff can happen quite a bit without putting real effort and dedication into your RC's - proper realisation of when you are dreaming will be a lot easier if you really question reality whenever you do an RC. That said, there are sometimes those dreams where there just isn't much clarity and despite RCing multiple times it still might not 'click' that you are dreaming. It happens to everyone sometimes, and is nothing to worry about |
