Good one Jeremy! Hope you continue this form.

Like you I have been on and off LD for a few months due to various reasons out of my control. However I have been reading up again and been on DV (mainly lurking) for the last week which has paid off.
This morning (7.50am) I had a lucid dream after a 10 min WBTB taken about an hour before. I wasn't really concentrating on having one, but I do recall a couple of (normal) dreams beforehand which seemed significant. The one especially as I was dreaming of doing a relaxation exercise in a chair - however I don't think it was an FA.
The LD I had was very high quality in comparison to the poorer very short, or lack of dream control type lucids I was used to getting.
I won't bore you with the whole dream scenario here. What I will say is that it involved a former girl/friend from years ago who appeared in my kitchen, & I sussed it was a dream straight away as I said it out loud. There was NO shifting or loss of control. I looked out of the window to look at the scenery which was more vivid. (Mainly blue sky / green fields.)
I tried to get her to look out and comment on the view to work out if she could see the same?
I went in my front room and I tried to stabalize the dream more by rubbing my hands. This was so funny because when I looked down when rubbing them you could see the fingers 'flickering', going back and forth, in a sort of blurry motion.
However just after I was rudely awoken by my alarm clock going off which really annoyed me!
My house, especially the kitchen is a very strong 'dreamsign' for me. Hopefully I may bump into this girl I once knew again, perhaps as a dreamguide?
On reflection, this experience has helped motivate me as I was buzzing with excitement afterwards & couldn't get back to sleep.
One thing it has taught me is to write down a clear goal, or a series of goals to do once lucid in the future.
