I really haven't had a sleep paralysis experience since I was younger in my teens. Eerily, most of the time I wasn't even paralyzed.
I woke up once to a gaping wound in the back of my wrist. I even touched it, but felt nothing but my skin, and went back to sleep.
Woke up to see my bedsheets a different pattern. Blue with white polka dots.
Saw a camera pointed down straight at me on a tripod, positioned right on top of me over my chest. Above that was a stop sign stuck in my ceiling. Not so scary as it was utterly startling and violating.
Saw an old booze bottle on the coffee table with an amiable looking miniature skeleton riding it.
Massive spider crawling up the wall. Wasn't afraid, though.
And I think the last hallucination I ever had was of a smiling demon spinning around in my computer chair.
I don't know why I wasn't driven insane by all those hallucinations. Definitely grew out of them, though. I hope.
