So today I had my first lucid dream. I think. I just wanted to double check and ask a few questions about it.

First off, I was sleeping and then I woke up around 5:30. I was pissed at first because I didn't even remember dreaming that night. Then i figured I might as well go back to sleep to try. Anyways I was in a normal dream at my house and then I went on a boat with all these people and then I ended back up at my house with these two guys.

I was sitting there talking to one of the random guys and he was saying... "This feels king of like..." Then I shouted "A DREAM." I was so pumped up because I finally got my first lucid dream in a long time. I'm 16 I had one once when I was a kid but I just now discovered that you can train yourself to do them. Anyways after I recognized it was a dream I stood up but it was very hard to stand up. Then I did some reinforcement to keep it going like 4+4 = 8 and rubbing my hands together. Although I didn't really feel anything when I rubbed my hands. Anyways I did that and then decided to go outside to try and fly.

I tried jumping up into the air and levitating but for some reason I couldn't. Then I got mad at myself and, without knowing, walked around the corner. Then a bear started chasing me back around the corner of my house and i stopped it and just shouted stop at it, and it turned into a dog. Then i asked it what it represented and it said "your fear of an unknown stranger chasing you."

Is this response real, was that really why, or was it just a random answer? It seems kind of far-fetched for me to be able to do that, but I am new to lucid dreaming so I wouldn't really know.

Anyways next I decided to find some total hot chick so I asked the new bear-dog to find me one and he led me to this random house and a hottie was there. I asked her if she wanted to go to her room and what not and she said. "Yes of course." I was still conscious at this point and then she said to me. "Your subconsciousness loves you lol."

Is this normal, for that type of response to arise in a lucid dream?

We went to her room and right when we got there I recognized it from a previous dream and then the next thing I saw was the wall of my bedroom.

That was basically it for my first lucid experience. I had some limitations on myself. I also realized that it wasn't as clear as I had expected it to be. It was still kind of that dreamy clairvoyance. But I remember it much better than the rest of my dreams. Is this type of clarity normal for beginner lucid dreamers and what can I do to enhance it? This is also my 4th night attempting to lucid dream and I did it by using the MILD technique and saying to myself.. "I will have many lucid dreams tonight." At around 5:30. Is getting a lucid dream in that amount of time good and how often can I expect them at first?

Thanks!
