Strangest Lucid Technique I've Ever Used

So this is the most powerful thing I've ever achieved in a lucid dream.

I was at my childhood school, the place of a lot very strange dreams for me. For that reason when I find myself there it's a fairly good indicator that I'm probably dreaming. That made me do a quick reality check. The way I always do a check is to ask the question "How did I get here?" and if I can't remember then that means I'm certainly dreaming. Still with this knowledge now in hand I found it difficult to come to terms with. I mean I got that strange feeling in my mind that I was in a made up world, that this was all a projection but on the surface it looked very real.

So I looked out at some buildings in the school and as I did so I found myself pondering the question of just how real this place was, but also that if I am now lucid I should do something interesting while I have the time. That's when it came to me, why not knock out two birds with one stone? If I spend too long thinking about how real everything is then I will surely wake having done nothing special and likewise if I spent my time doing something special then I won't fully appreciate the falseness, the virtuality of where I was.

Wham, it hit me. I have complete and total power of where I am. What I need to do is pull the dream apart. I need to tear at the seams of this fabric that had been pulled over my eyes.

This was going to require a massive amount of energy to pull off, it's crazy I thought, no one has probably ever done it but... I'm going to. So I used the most powerful technique I have, I brought my hand out and point it towards the sky with an open palm and I shook it once strongly. This had now linked the energy in my hand and thus my body to the energy of the environment. Now I had it, I could command it.

So I channeled all my energy, all my might and I imagined breaking the dream. At first nothing happened, although not through any lack of conviction. Instead something remarkable had just happened but it wasn't visible just yet.

I turned my head ever so slightly as I looked at my hand and the sky from slightly different perspectives and that's when I realized I had frozen the dream. From no matter what perspective I looked at anything, the buildings never changed shape. The same way a photo looks. You can see it's 3D but it's 3D projected onto a 2D surface and it loses depth. That's exactly what happened, my dream had lost all sense of depth. It was like looking at a photograph except this time the photo wasn't in my vision, the photo was my vision.

Now I knew I almost had it, the world had begun to break down and that's exactly what I kept thinking. Now remember this happened fast, I'm just giving you the moment by moment.

So moments later I gave it my all and with my hand out I commanded the world to break. To my pure and utter astonishment the strangest thing happened. That flat image of the dream grew cracks. The world felt like it was made of glass, and the energy from my hand was smashing it. Eventually pieces of the dream became shards and those shards began to fall, exposing... White! Pure, ever long, infinite white.

Most of the dream had broken up and I lowered my hand breaking up more and more as my hand pulled it down. I'm not exactly sure what happened to those shards, they may have simply faded or been deleted but I couldn't see them when they fell below me.

Before it was all gone I woke up. This was just incredible to me and it remains one of my most interesting lucids to date. It really makes me question what's real.

Oh wow, congrats on the lucid! Your dream sounds very awesome and dramatic (in a good way)

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
