Something very strange and unexplainable in my LD

      Hey guys,

Before I went to bed, I ENSURED I set my alarm for 6:00 am for work. I know I did this 100% positive.

Well, last night, I had an LD (two nights in a row, yay) - and it all started with the typical sensations; realising I was dreaming and a sudden burst of feeling went through my body. Everything became 100 times clearer, the visions and colours and the sounds, i could hear everything - so I KNEW I was lucid.

Then after some playing around, flying and general mucking around I heard an alarm clock in the distance. It got louder and louder and then I knew I was lying in my bed and it was my alarm to wake me up. Generally, I wake up... however, this time...

As it was going off, I remember thinking of my physical body, and when I was picturing my body lying in bed, I pictured it moving to my alarm clock and pressing the alarm button off. When this was happening, I remember the dream scene fading a little bit, but I do distinctively remember that I did not lose the dream scene. After visualising my physical body turning off the alarm - the sound in my dream stopped and I continued to dream lucidly.

I then must have become non-lucid because I had a false awakening and I thought I was awake and I was adamant I was in a dream, telling dream characters - but they said I was not dreaming. I looked down and I was a female (I'm male) and I accepted it was real (but reluctantly).

I then woke up at 7:15 am (45 minutes before I need to leave for work - remember I set my alarm for 6 am) with the alarm buzzer set to off.

The thing is, I 100% remember turning the alarm on before I went to bed and I do remember in my LD that I imagined my physical body turning it off, but it was still dream like.

Is it possible that i actually moved and turned off the alarm by visualising it in my dream, unaware as my unconscious body turned it off?

Has anyone else experienced this? It was surreal.

*I edited your title and post to reflect it*.

      It is probably 1% possible.
Do you have a habit of turning of the alarm with your eyes closed?

Many questions may arise from here.

If you were in REM period, I'm assuming you were (since you had a very vivid LD), then you probably were paralyzed by REM ATONIA and there would be no way you could have moved your body without waking up. It is again possible for the REM period to end (since you became Non-Lucid from there).

I'm assuming that it was just your imagination, and you turned off the dream alarm by visualizing it.
Maybe the alarm didn't wake you up after all.
Maybe you left the volume to low or even mute.

There are a lot of possibilities but it impossible to turn off the physical alarm by visualizing it in your dreams.

Hmm, I do always press snooze with my eyes closed because it is very close to my bed. Maybe i woke up for a brief second, turned it completely off and went into a DEILD without realising I actually woke up that much? I do remember losing some dream vividness, so maybe that was me waking up, turning it off, then going back into a DEILD?

Just was very hazy in the morning, can't really remember what happened, but I know the alarm was set to on before I went to bed.

And what I meant was; i visualised myself turning the alarm off, so could this have woken me up a little bit to turn off the alarm (kind of subconsciously) and then i went straight back into a DIELD - which felt like a continuous dream?

I wouldn't rule out, that you did actually move during your LD and turned off the alarm. If the alarm brought you up from deeper sleep, but didn't completely woken you up, the SP could have let go of you and you were able to move.

During one of my WILDs, I was sleeping very lightly, having a lucid and interacting in a dream, while at the same time, I moved my real arm to protect my chest, because I felt my cat next to me and she likes to jump on me when I'm sleeping. And BTW, I have never felt SP during my WILDs and attempts.

But it could have been also as you say - you woke up just enough to turn it off and went into another LD. Especially if you do that often - the turning off the alarm automatically, without waking up too much, eyes closed, it's totally possible.
