      First Controlled Lucid Dream Expernience

SUCCESS PEOPLE, finally I did it! I set my alarm to wake me up 4 hours after I sleep but ended up just waking up 20m before my alarm was going to go off naturally. I got out of bed and read about lucid dreaming for a 30m then went back to bed. My neighbor had his TV on really loud and I couldn't focus or go to sleep. I seriously waited in my bad for an hour and a half for this guy to turn his TV off and just go to bed. I got so mad and forgot completely about lucid dreaming and could not focus on anything other then this asshole that lived right by me. I eventually lost it, a fuse in my brain popped and I screamed at the top of my lungs, "FOR GODS SAKE TURN THE VOLUME DOWN IM TRYING TO SLEEP!" He obviously heard me and lowered the volume. But I still lay angrily in my bed bitter that the one chance I get a week (I work 6 days a week) has to be ruined by some asshole who watches TV at 4:30 in the morning. I eventually accepted the idea that my attempt had been ruined and I had already been awake for nearly 2 hours now. I don't know what happened next I guess I just passed out eventually.

I have had 1 lucid dream before this on accident, but this is the first one I accomplish one when attempting to lucid dream, also I never had this much control over a dream before. Please read my experience and tell me what you think, it was very very entertaining

      "The Grocery Store"

I found my self inside a grocery store observing some products, I'm not quite sure what enticed me to do a reality check but I decided to try pushing my fingers through my palm and to my amazement it worked and I realized everything was a dream. As soon as I realized it was a dream every thing started to shake and twist, I could feel the dream world collapsing. I closed my eyes in the dream world and focused on my self and clearing my mind. As I was focusing I briefly opened my eyes for one second just to see how the stabilizing was going to find something amazing, I saw the dream world swirling all around me and basically rebuilding itself. After I opened my eyes I felt my stability start to slide again because the seen was simply to chaotic to bear. I eventually regained control opened my eyes and I was back in the grocery store and I successfully achieved lucidity. I remained calm and yelled, "STABILIZE NOW!!" at the top of my lungs and everything became crystal clear, this is the first time I exert control to this degree on a dream it was simply unbelievable how clear everything became. I started to walk about and just inspect the dream world, there were other DC shopping in the mall but I was too busy trying to decide what to do next to even consider interacting with them. As I was walking I saw a window leading outside, I hastily decided to fly through the window smashing it and then flying around outside. I got ready to fly through the window and started running towards it when I noticed that there was a storm outside and it was very windy. I stopped my self from running but my momentum still kept me going a little bit and my foot passed through the window without breaking it. I pulled it out and decided to just stay in the grocery store and see what I could do. At this point I started trying a number of things unsuccessfully, I started to try to cast fireballs using the Ka-me-ha-me-ha hand gesture and failed every time. I even so some suspended by a tray throwing sparks everywhere so I decided to try and harness some of the coals and sparks energy to build a fireball with my hands but that didn't work either. I then stopped trying and noticed a red hot coal fell on my hands, I felt no pain but naturally through it away out of fear. I then stared at my hands for any damages and found none, no burning sensation and burned marks. I gave up on shooting fireballs and decided to try lifting objects and throwing them around in the grocery store with my mind, of-course this failed as well so I eventually gave up and kept moving. I wanted to experience a super power so the next one I tried was insane amounts of strength, I slapped a steel bar as hard as I could and nothing happened it didn't move. So then I decided to try something a bit creative I jumped and then landed down with a stomping motion and nothing happened as well, I tried it again and heard a loud sound of cracking tiles, I looked down and I had created a small crater below my feet, I exhibited super strength! After that I was satisfied and moved on to the main super power of them all, flying. I have no idea why but this came totally naturally to me, I set my mind on flying I smiled with confidence ran and then flew off the ground and around the grocery store, I even did acrobatic moves in mid-air spinning and sharp turns and still maintained flight. I noticed a cute girl sitting down on one of the benches in the store and try to impress her with my flying. There was a plat form above her so I flew there and slowly lowered my self in front of her with 1 knee up and the other leg down humming the theme song to "Superman" she smiled at me while I landed in front of her then I asked her if she wanted to have sex and she didn't say anything she just stared at me then the dream just ended lol.

Good job on LD control .
I still need to work on my LDs to be long/stable enough to do any advanced control, heh.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Thanks! I'm starting to wonder if the girl I saw towards the end was my Anima? How do you tell the difference between an anima and other female DC?

Does your anima always have the same appearance?

From what I've read, your anima may not have the same appearance every time. Supposedly, you have a certain 'connection' to your anima, no matter what form they are. You can be emotionally attached to them or something. This is quite old but check it out if you want: http://www.dreamviews.com/f45/anima-animus-45042/

Whoa! This makes me wonder about a recent lucid dream. Perhaps she was mine. Interesting stuff.

I really want to meet my shadow, that sound awesome. Jungian psychology is pretty cool.

I had another lucid dream today, I practiced the same method as above and it worked again. Although this one was a bit weird, has anyone experienced multiple short dreams coming one after another with a brief phase of blackness before each succeeding dream? Another strange thing is I lose lucidity every time a new dream occurs. On my third dream I had a FA and my reality check failed so I just assumed it was real, but I had achieved lucidity two times using the same reality check before. I did notice though that unlike my dream above, in this one I had to push my fingers harder to get them through my palm.

Any ideas on what this is? (I can't post links yet but feel free to click on my DJ, the name of the dream is "A Sorta Hat-Trick")

I can't be sure, but it might have to do with losing focus. When you start drifting into a new dream, you sorta lose focus, so in turn you also lose lucidity. As for why you are having consecutive dreams with dark phases in between: I think we have those every night, we just don't notice the in-betweens. But since you had some awareness, that might be why you did. Just a guess though

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
