      Curse You Mind!

      I had my third lucid dream last night. My brother found a bunch of strange objects in my garbage can. I realized they were there because of something I did. A few moments later I realized the situation was very strange, and in fact a dream! I did my reality checks but found myself "waking up", as I struggled with keeping myself asleep and dreaming. Moments later my mom was telling me that I needed to get ready for school. As it turns out, this was a false awakening. Darn you brain! And darn myself for not doing a RC after I woke up :/ I guess it was too realistic for me to consider the obvious. One more thing to note is that I preformed SSLID earlier in the night, so thanks for the technique!

      Well I feel silly, but I am having a hard time finding the original post that I found SSLID in. Ah well, I will try again in a little bit. SSLID is using your senses as you are about to go to sleep (WBTB, nap). I found a thread on a bunch of people trying this out for 30 days. They aren't incredibly far into it but there are some great results so far. Check it out if you'd like

      Edit: I try to RC when I wake up but I guess I need to get into the habit of doing it right away :/ I sometimes forget and do it a few minutes later. Ooops.
