Thread: Four dream back-to-back extravaganza!

Hey guys

Now this isn't a post about lucid dreaming (sadly, that would have been amazing) but I think it deserves a post just for the sheer depth, vividness and length. A few nights ago I decided to turn in at around 10, earlier than I normally turn in at. I think this was due to being absolutely exhausted from days of exams and coursework deadlines. I went to bed with not many thoughts floating around my head, more concerned with just catching some sleep rather than inducing anything lucid. What followed is probably the most dreams I've recorded in one night and all of them occurred back-to-back.

The dream started with me entering a large cafeteria, looking for an old friend of mine that I had not seen in a long time. He had invited me to some form of festival and I had gone there to meet up with him and go there with him. I remember following him in the line to grab some food, but sat down at a different table to him, one full of rich aristocratic people. The cafeteria then dissolved around me and revealed that we were all sitting in the middle of a grassy field surrounded by thick forests. Everyone got up and began to move in one direction into the forest. I decided to follow a different path with one of my rich friends, eventually leading to a large Edwardian style manor house.
As I entered the house the dream seemed to transition from one scene to another, I instantly changed my character to one of the nobles and began exploring the house, looking for a vintage bottle of wine. The previous dream characters just faded out of existence and my memory at the time, I had become a completely different character as if someone had changed the film I was in. what followed was general exploration of the scene and interaction with several of the nobles about the house.
Then the dream changed again, suddenly, in a much more jarring transition. I found myself in an old run down house, very industrial-themed with large amounts of plant overgrowth. I was now a unprofessional bug hunter (no Aliens jokes intended) and was making my way through the house spraying these large insects. the insects were predominantly spiders and were about the size of two clenched fists. I remember thinking they were disgusting but not being afraid or scared of them, and I remember them generally turning tail and running rather than trying to attack me. Not a dream for Arachnophobics it seems ..
The final scene was another sudden transition, I found myself as an FBI agent storming some kind of large underground complex. I had little in the way of equipment, a pistol, holster, kevlar vest and knife. I also had two fully armed SWAT members following me, somewhat more threatening I can imagine. We made our way around the complex, not really running into any real resistance. The one time we did I managed to sneak up on them and get them to surrender, amazing what having a gun against your head can make you do. Eventually we came to a locked door which we decided to breach, upon opening the door I found a pistol pointed into my face, I pointed mine straight back and found it to be another Agent. He was dressed identically to me and was in the room with several SWAT members similar to mine. After a few seconds of pointing and shouting we decided to holster and he told me to "come look at what he had found". Upon entering I saw the outline of some type of projector screen, the dream then faded and I woke up

So overall pretty mad, thoughts, questions and comments appreciated
