Thread: My nap turned into a crazy experience!

Went for a nap earlier today and I fell into a dream which at first wasn't very nice (I've been suffering from PTSD lately) but then I sort of became half lucid, but I became lucid in ANOTHER dream.. so my consciousness was split between this dream where I thought I was in bed half asleep, and the other dream (nice dream) that I was controlling.. but then all of a sudden I felt like I was pulled out of my lucid dream fully into this other dream where I thought I was awake. I couldn't move at all (I've had SP before) but it took me ages to realize what was happening. All the while I felt my mum sitting beside me on the bed and whilst I was struggling she forcefully shoved my head back down on the pillow so I couldn't get up and move. That's when I realized I was having SP. I stopped struggling and decided to wait it out. I remember thinking that I could create a new dream world if I wanted, but I couldn't be bothered to try (I've always failed in the past). That's when I realized I could wiggle my toes and fingers. Soon as I started doing that this HUGE pressure started building up in my head (never experienced this before) and it felt like my head was going to explode and everything was super loud and I couldn't breathe properly. Then as soon as it started it was over and I jumped up out of bed only to realize I'd woken up in a false awakening! Then I woke up for real.

It was like this basically: dream > lucid dream within a dream > sleep paralysis > exploding head > false awakening > wake up irl.

It felt like something you would see on Inception or something. Crazy crazy experience!

When you go to 'dream inside dream', it's just a scene change, but sometimes it goes crazy, yeah.
I had a bunch of experiences like that too, due to the fact that i seem to often have non-lucid dreams in my naps about attempting a WILD, and i actually manage to do WILD from a dream and become lucid(though it obviously counts as DILD), and even got fake sleep paralysis in that too once.
