      So close!.....yet so far.

      okay so I have been trying for about 5 years to have a lucid dream. the other night I had quite the experience. here was my dream:

      I was sitting at a table in Nicaragua on a mission trip with my church. we were all talking and socializing and having a good time. so a friend brought up the topic of lucid dreaming. I said "Yeah I can never tell when im dreaming in a dream. Ive been trying for years." Then my friend says (picking up his water bottle) "The way I can tell if im dreaming is when I throw the bottle away from me, it will come right back." So he throws it and it just acts normally as it would in RL.

      So that's all I can remember of the dream.

      Ive been trying so hard for so long and I came so close. kinda frustrating!

      An idea: set an intention that every time anyone does a reality check in front of you, no matter what success they have or not, you will also do a reality check from now on. I believe you are very very close. And so was I when I was having non-lucids kind of like that. Now alas I am far from lucidity: kidnapper nightmares and kittens dreams (rolling my eyes at myself).
