Experienced lucid features while in a normal dream

this was a real vivid dream, it was the 2nd time sleeping in the morning around 11am. i was kicking a ball around with friends at my first house, it looked like we were all 12ish but i am 20 now. and i remember being silly and saying Slow motion! and the world literally went to slow motion including the ball... but when i caught the ball mid air and landed the slow motion went away.. it was like the matrix! except catching a ball.. i remember after it happened for 1 second i thought "wow" but then i continued on like nothing happened

has anyone else experienced lucid features in a normal dream?

Yeah this happens, lucidity seeps increasingly into your other dreams, nightmares are less frightening and dreams become more fun/vivid generally. I've noticed taking a more active role in the dream plots overall.

As we think about lucid dreaming while planning goals or even just reading about it, as well as experiencing lucid dreams, some dream control can slip into non-lucid dreams, it's pretty fun.

One time I needed to get away from a place and said to myself, I need to think of a fast way to get away. I jumped off a ledge intending to do parkour, and I didn't fall, I floated, and I didn't even become lucid! I just did swimming motions to turn, then soared off, and never became lucid once that whole dream. I felt quite silly when I woke up.

Yup. Many dreams I'm actually controlling the weather, the scenario and other stuff, but never get lucid. It's like I'm not even following the plot and just controlling the dream at will, but I have no clue that I'm not awake

This is just the first stage of been lucid . stage 0 or 1 .

You can try use this as a trigger to become lucid. Lets call it things not abiding to the laws of physic or things out of the ordinary . The aim of the game is that every time you see something fishy going out you will go mm i must be dreaming and the boost into the air and fly away .

I once used the fact that i no longer own a nokia mobile phone as a trigger. The annoying one i need to work on is my child hood home of 7 years i have dreams were i live there still but cant seem to triggger its to deeply burnt in ha .

the thing is i have never had a lucid dream that has lasted more than 10 seconds, and that 1 was when i was being shaken by vibrations so i was kind of distracted. i have never done anything in a lucid dream before.... so this last dream was the first time i got to experience something out of the ordinary.. and i wasnt even lucid

Keep practicing . Its like playing a guitar . Its hard work at first but will pay of.
Go to bed and tell your self i will become lucid tonight over and over or something similar.

Wake up in the middle of the night and go back to sleep . try not to fall asleep but just let your body sleep . Dont make any movements.

Personally, most of my dreams are kind of realistic physics-wise but have very unrealistic events. Those "lucid experiences" you're talking about should be fairly easy LD triggers - too bad I never experience stuff like that.
I did have my first ever lucid dream last night which I'm really excited about, and I have no idea what made me realize it's a dream. Sort of the complete opposite of what you're describing here haha.
