      First planned lucid dream

      I'm pretty new to this too.

      Last night I experienced my first planned lucid dream. I had a false awakening from a dream I don't remember and straight away did a reality check. I managed to push my fingers right through my palm at which point I realised I was dreaming. Unfortunately I failed to stabilise the dream (probably because I was too excited) and then woke up for real soon afterwards.

      Congrats on the lucid dream!
      Even if this one was short, they will definitely improve with practice as you get more familiar with lucid dreaming. False awakenings are also pretty good way to get lucid, good call on that reality check!
      And good luck with the upcoming lucid dreams!
