Thread: My first lucid dream

(Sometime two years ago)

I was walking to my living room when something must have clicked. "Hold on a second", I thought, "I'm dreaming!" Naturally the first thing I wanted to do was fly. I didn't even walk outside to try it out. I just stood there in my living room and flapped my hands like an idiot until I started floating up. The door bell rung and I stopped, and walked to the door to see that it was a little foreign boy and his father. The boy said something to me, with a smile on his face. I could not understand what the boy said, but the father responded by looking at him with a confused yet annoyed expression and back-handing him. He must have said something stupid. It looked as if his neck had just gave out, and his head had fallen off to reveal a flat metal circle with a short pole and sphere, like the one some mannequins have. The boy picked up his head, and they both walked off like nothing happened. It was time to test my flying. I walked outside into the street. Lifting off, I saw all the way down the road and sadly woke up.
