      Lucid dream setting discussion

When i have a lucid dream, starting several weeks ago, it is always in the same setting, and the changes i make are persistent across all lucid dreams. (i previously posted about consistencies in my lucid dreams, but those have ceased. This is my current pattern. I've had 6 lucid dreams in this pattern so far)
The setting consists of a large cabin in the center of a circle of mountains. There is a giant field to the north, with a river lined with various fruit trees. To the east is a dense forest with various deciduous trees and deer, rabbits, and other woodland animals. To the west is a sparse forest, with coniferous trees and friendly bears. To the south is a large, clear lake with koi and white sand. The forests connect and blend together at the far end of the lake. The mountains to the north are snow capped, and there are polar bears roaming them. The mountains to the east contains numerous caves which are illuminated by large glowing crystals hanging from the ceiling. The mountains to the south consist of Dusty plateaus, muddy river rapids, and canyons. The mountains to the west are rocky, and it always rains there. There is a woman named Catherine who hangs out around the cabin area, and i communicate with her through a hand radio.
The weird thing about my lucid dreams, is that i cannot change things of my own will. I request for Catherine to change things, and she does it. Anything i request for her to do she does, and i can ask for anything and it appears in front of me.
I once asked for a helicopter and operating manual and a helicopter "phased in" like in some sci fi movie. She then handed me a book entitled "Helicopter flying for dummies"
I also have a magic map that can teleport me to any explored area in the lucid dream. I have a rucksack with adventuring gear, and it stays with me across all dreams.
She makes me bacon and eggs when i come back from my adventures.
I can make my dream last as long as i want, but i cannot wake myself up by my own will. I have to tell Catherine to wake me up, then i close my eyes and when i open them it is morning, and i'm i my bed.
To lucid dream, i repeat "I'm going to my playground" in my head as i fall asleep and the dream always starts with me opening my eyes, at the point the previous dream left off. I have a man cave in the basement of the cabin that has a pool table, tv with 10,000 channels, and a stereo that plays any song i want.

Catherine is a beautiful woman, she has long light brown hair, and the hair around her temples is braided and ties together at the back of her head. She always wears some kind of sun dress, and matching sandals. She plays pool with me, and chats about life when i want. She gives some pretty good advice too.

Sometimes i start some gunfights or sword fights in my dream and when i get shot full of holes or chopped into pieces, i act all cool and say "Yo, Catherine, fix me up!" and then i magically become unmangled.

Now to wrap this all up, I ask my fellow lucid dreamers if they have persistent lucid dreams, and to give a detailed description of the setting.

Wow, that sounds really neat! A lot of this reminds me of video games, like the magic map and asking Catherine for things. I think having a dream character to summon, change, and fix things would be a really cool technique to use.

I haven't had persistent lucid dreams yet, but once i'm more experienced I'd like to try creating a persistent dream world with persistent DC's that I could hang out with.

Have you seen Hyu's dream journal? He talks about persistent lucid dreams and has a guide on how to create what he calls a persistent realm: Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views - Hyu's Adventures - Dream Journals

I haven't read any tutorials on creating a persistent dream. It just sort of happened.
It's really convenient to have persistent dreams because you know right away it's a dream. Also, the repeating setting helps me remember fine details when I wake up.

I do remember though, in my first dream like this, I asked Catherine at the end how i return to this place. She said "You can come back if you really want to, just tell yourself that you're going to play."
