I like destruction and reality, and one invariably leads to the other.
'Dreams are real while they last. Can we say more of life?'
'We die to remember what we live to forget'
A false awakening is when you think you just woke up from a dream but you are still dreaming, when you dream that you wake up, so no it seems like it wasn't. Also, they can happen wherever. At times you just realize you are dreaming even without a reality check, it's normal. How did you "jump" from one dream to another? Probably you lost lucidity in the lucid dream, or they were just two separated dreams. Probably the first one because it seems like you were becoming less lucid when that strange thought of yours. Another possibility is that you dreamed you had a lucid dream... |

I don't remember how did I jump from one to another, I just remember being talking with that guy and the next thing is that I was repairing the guitar. |

Well when you dream that you lucid dream you think things like "this little bastard is about to punch me" for no reason at all. Now seriously, I find it quite difficult to explain though it's not very difficult for me to differentiate one from another. I just "Intuyo que es así, a veces incluso es una certeza" (Not sure how to write that in English). Anyway this just happened to me like twice or so. |

If you just dreamed that you had a lucid dream you would not have that aha moment of realization that it is a dream, and you would not really have had the awareness while it was going on, I think. |

You may say I'm a dreamer.
But I'm not the only one - John Lennon
Hum, now I'm not really sure which one was. I'll think it was a lucid dream, I have that feeling. Anyway, thank you both for the answers |

This happened to me again last night. I was sat on the edge of my bed and in that moment I realized that I was dreaming. I focused on my hands to stabilize the dream. After that I started doing things. I desired to be faster, but it didn't work like my first lucid dream. After a while the dream change and I lose lucidity. |

Maybe your reality check isn't well prepared? I mean, maybe when you RC while awake you just do it and forguet about it's objective, you don't ask yourself if you're dreaming. Concerning the lucidity loss, remember to remember yourself you are dreaming every now and then. |

Ever since discovering lucid dreaming, I gain lucidity at random times within dreams as well. Due to how busy I am in life, I no longer practice or try to LD, yet I'll still get them here and there where I will notice I am dreaming simply because I have noticed before. |
|
Is it possible to dream of a lucid dream even with reality-checks? This is quite annoying |
