I had been on dreamviews for quite some time, but then I left. Nearly all my WILDs and MILDs failed, and the one lucid dream I had might as well not been there, there was no substance to it. So I left and I left and mostly didn't think about lucid dreams. However, apart from never approaching lucidity, I was having another problem. I always considered my dreams hazy, not vivid at all. And personally, when I awake, I couldn't visualize to save my life. Nothing, just brief ideas of what something should look like appears before my eyes and vanishes before I can process it.
Fast forward to yesterday. I got in to bet extremely early, but I woke up at midnight and I couldn't fall asleep again. I recall a bunch of dreams happening in that first session of sleep. I try to fall asleep again countless times but I alwasy seem to wake up after 15 minutes or so. So I decide, hell, Imma WILD. I'll at least fall asleep if I don't make it.
And now weird stuff happened. I don't know how it exactly went, but my first attempt at WILD failed, and I had a rapid succession of dreams, 80% of which happened in my room, but I couldn't tell if someone were actually wake experiences. What I remember is after a bunch of dreams in which I was lying in bed attempting to WILD, something hit me. I heard my family members in the background, and that couldn't possibly be happening, since it was so late. BAM, it hit me like a revelation. At that moment, I'm not sure if I got out of the dream or just entered another dream, but I became lucid. As my body vibrated under the sleep paralysis, I slipped into my first real lucid dream.
It started with music! I heard a song as my vision was morphing. It was perfectly clear at the time, I could hear every word and the instruments. It was a bad song, said something about a million subscribers (been watching too much yt). Then I realized I gotta imagine where my dream is going to start. So I thought in a car, why not drive a car! My vision at this point was pitch black with some sort of partially invisible stones hurling at my eyes. Quickly it turned into a weird video-game looking scene.
But I wasn't content with something that looks like a video game, I wanted real life. So I tried to force it to become realistic. And... it worked, for some reason. The car that I was watching in 3rd person's perspective that jumbled around on the road became more like the actual cars in real life. But it was still too cartoony... So I forced a change of shape again, and again, and again and bam!
Holy crap this looks like the real world. I looked around and was so happy to see one thing: my brain isn't blind to visualization. This world was as realistic visually as any waking day, I can shift my eyes to look at one thing in detail, the peripheral vision will stay blurry. I was pretty excited. For some reason, I decided to go into a hospital! So I materialized a hospital in front of me, it worked. I got into it and I saw Dr. House in the distance. My plan was to enter any door and make funny stuff happen but sadly, my dream was cut short. I did get to see Dr. House's face though and was supper happy it looked like in the actual series!
And that was it for my lucid dream, what followed were several other lucid dreams in which I didn't do very much.
I had dreamed that I was in my room many times, and I found out I was in my room usually by hearing, again, voices of people that shouldn't be awake. One dream started exactly in the position I was in my bed, except my eyes were open, but I felt so heavy! So I decided, why don't I just get myself out by other means! I forced myself to levitate as I tried to turn the night into day. As I was getting closer to the roof, I saw sunshine peak through the blinds on my window (I did it!). Soon I clipped through the roof and ended up having a view of the city I'm in, but I'm afraid that's where that dream ended.
_______
I just cannot explain how excited I am that I did this. None of my previous "LD"s came any close to this. I could think, I could BLINK! (a big one to me) And the amount of control I had was just surreal. The dream obeyed pretty much any of my whims at one point. I'm hoping to have more in which I'll improve on this drastic jump from 0 to 1. Consider even staying on Dreamviews because now I might actually get to do cool stuff
Thank ye for reading and good luck.
