Like A Diary But About Dreams

THE TYPE OF LUCID DREAMER I BECAME

I was thinking about what it meant to be a master lucid dreamer. It never came to me after lucid dreaming for years to be a real master lucid dreamer before i joined here. One who controls everything. All I ever thought about was accepting the challenge and finding out of the box ways to control the dream. Going along with plots as well. That was until i started getting stressed easily and stopped trying to lucid dream though.(Im not stressed now though. Ive gotten better)But since I sort of shaped the lucid dreamer I am now what does that mean for me I wonder. Does that mean I went from beginner to novice to master to beginner to novice to beginner?

Now that I think about it I want to be like the master controller but many times I feel like I dont even want to lucid dream. Like when I feel im about to WILD i stop myself from entering the dream. Feels rather melancholic, my feelings for lucid dreaming. So I dont think of myself as a master or a beginner or a novice. Since my mood changes for me and so do my goals. Even how i see things now is different from the way i saw things before.Nonetheless, i think i fit as the explorer more.As an explorer I don't have to worry about controlling everything and can get around. I can use control when I want to but I don't act as a God. I'm just me with stronger abilities lucid dreaming. Also, like the explorer I run, Im brave, I'm curious, Im scared, I'm silly, Im clumsy and I have fun.

Just some thoughts.Sorry if it doesn't really make sense to you.If you want to you can write something about the type of lucid dreamer you've become.

IS THERE REALLY A TREASURE HIDDEN WITHIN THESE DREAMS?

Came back to this thread to write some more thoughts.

I'm thinking about what I want to do with lucid dreaming. I enjoy it but when I become lucid will I just explore or can I actually find something valuable from it? I don't think I can uncover more from what I already observed from it but perhaps I can just take the time to appreciate it. There are so many things you can do and I find that my inspiration revives when I find a beautiful yet adventurous setting. However, when I find that setting what will I do than? Perhaps try riding a horse like before or fly above the beautiful scenery or jump from place to place. I feel like I wrote these thoughts before but I guess that just means I want another memorable lucid dream. But I dont know what type of memorable lucid dream I really want yet.

Guess I turned this thread into a diary but about dreams. I can't change the title but just so you know this is pretty much what the threads gonna be like. ^^"

      WHATS SO SPECIAL ABOUT WILD?

Unlike the other times where my fear felt overwhelming I was able to do a WILD again. It felt somewhat nostalgic though entering the dream that way. I ended up in a mountainous snowy setting and spotted a dc that was invisible but I could still sense and hear. I didn't stabilize the dream though and just continued thinking about how I was following this dc and that if I wanted to I could wake myself up. But I told myself no since the dream world felt like it was my happy place at that moment. I also flew into the cloudy sky and admired the scenery than chased another dream character thinking about how I want to try shared dreaming again but I wasn't that into it. Just having fun.Eventually after the fun I ended up getting non lucid after I exited a school i ended up in.

But I was reminded about what I like about WILD. I like the ability to choose when I enter the dream world just like before. When I would want to see Dawn or my other dream characters I would try doing a WILD so I could see them. I don't remember most of those dreams now but It feels good to think about WILD that way for me. ^ w ^

Now that I think about it I guess my fear about WILD before was that I didn't have a choice. That I would have to keep going from waking life to dream mode like that at night. Which freaked me out mostly because I was having nightmares at that time. But seeing it more as a choice deteriorates that fear and those nightmares(lucid and non lucid) I had don't bother me anymore.

You get afraid when you try to WILD? I do too... It's overwhelming. The only times it has worked was when I reminded myself that everything would be ok. Usually, the fear wakes me up.

As for what the treasure is? When I first started actively dreaming, the goal was to converse with my subconscious. Literally. I wanted to have a conversation w a DC representing my unconscious. But now I don't care so much, and its more about the experiences I've had and will have. There isn't really an end goal.

Fear messes me up too but I've been calmer and less fearful about it. Yeah, I agree with you. The experience is better. You can still have a good time even if you haven't talked much in your dreams.

      WAS I JUST BEING GUIDED?

I've been paying little attention to what happens in my dreams lately. But the last dream I had for the night reminded me of something. In this dream a random boy came to me in my room and began showing me how he took care of his hair. His hair was medium length black and he began to blow dry it in front of me. "You just put the dryer next to you. Don't worry if its too hot.ah!"Than he ended up burning himself a bit with the purple blow dryer."Its ok. Its ok. Its all apart of the process into making my hair straight. You just blow it straight down like this so the others can get some heat too"he said as he was showing me.

I watched him until his hair fell off and it looked like he had a buzz cut with a huge bald spot. Which made me think of my brother's friend but that's not my point. I feel like when my characters point out something like this they are giving me a push in a direction that I wanted to go in but forgot. This reminded me of another dream I was guided in that had to deal with hair too. But even though hair can mean something for me in dreams its not the hair that makes things special. Its how you learn things by their reminders, when they state something you never got before or just by them comforting you. So for this dream I was shown how people blow dry hair at a salon. Even though in my mind before this dream I felt I couldn't blow dry my hair right because I didn't know how.The dream character reminded me of their imperfection(The burning me part) but their perseverance to actually still make your hair look good. Although, I think Ill do without the burning thank you very much. ^w^"

      Thumbs down

      FIGHT THAN DINE

My latest lucid dream was certainly something. I was battling a clone of my older brother that could freeze things and whose goal was to annihilate my whole family so that he could take my brothers place. As I tried using guide, smarts, speed and strength to win I realized something. Just as I left the entrance door and heard him coming back for more. I don't need to fight anymore since i just pretty much won already.

However, to my surprise I was approached by a tall black man in overalls who wanted to show me his gun. This led me to think about how I doubted my ability to have my mind in place so that he wouldn't shoot me. As he twirled his gun showing it to me I slapped it in a different direction. But to my surprise he ended up showing me small labels on the gun that were seafood. He mentioned how you could shoot the food out with the gun. But I opened it instead and we enjoyed some seafood that was inside the gun before I woke up.

So even though I had some doubt at first its always better to just trust that you got the situation since your the dreamer. That way you can just bend things to your will easily just by thinking of what you want to happen or in a way feeling what you want to happen through your emotions. Also,I was reminded by this dream how dream battles are fun for me but what I enjoy the most is having a nice time with dream characters.

      Different Sleep Schedule

I feel like its time I started writing my dreams again. That way I can find it more likable because lately I don't have the urge to sleep early. So maybe writing them will make me want to sleep early again
