Talking First LD in a long time

This is my fourth lucid dream now, but it's my first lucid dream I've had in years (its a little bit of a confusing one btw)

It was a very vivid dream where I woke up in a tree with a blanket in front of Hogwarts and people from Hogwarts were calling me Harry and telling me to get out of the tree. I'm guessing they thought I was Harry Potter? I knew that wasn't my name. I also knew that I would never fall asleep in a tree. So I knew I must have been dreaming. I got excited though. I thought I was about to wake up just after becoming lucid. I thought I was loosing my opportunity. The dream started loosing vividness. Everything was getting dark. I thought I knew I was dreaming, but I had to do a reality check just to be sure. I jumped down from the tree, and tried pushing my fingers through my hand. It was so dark at this point I couldn't tell if my fingers went through so I decided to try something else. I pinched my nose and decided to breath in, and it worked. I took a deep breath of air through my nose even though my fingers were clogging it. I knew for sure that this was a dream. It wasn't clear at all. Everything was so dark and fuzzy feeling. So i shouted "I want clarity now!" Every thing lit up. I wasn't in Hogwarts anymore. I was on a mountain. I looked down and I saw so many clouds, I couldn't see the ground through them. I looked forward and I saw another mountain in the distance and it sort of had a cats face? It was kind of hard to tell since it was so far from me. I wanted to see the ground so I yelled at the clouds to move out of the way and they did. I saw the clouds split in the middle and move away from each other. I saw green hills, some trees, and a big river down the middle. I was in awe. I couldn't believe I made that happen. However, shortly after the clouds moved out of the way, they moved back and I lost sight of the ground. I didn't mind though. I wanted to try something else. I wanted to see if I could make rain fall down on top of me. I didn't yell at the clouds on top of me like I did with the clouds below me. I just imagined rain falling down but I could only manage to get a few drops to fall down on top of me. Which was still pretty cool. I decided to stop taking control for a little bit to see what the environment would do. I saw a few black holes in the distance forming and then vanishing. That sort of scared me since I didn't want to get pulled into one. Then the dream started loosing vividness and I was thinking about yelling "I want clarity" again but at that point, I was ok with waking up. It was my first lucid dream in a while and it was simple and cool. I wanted to see what it was like to wake up again. Everything got fuzzy, then turned to black, then it started to feel like I was falling down. I closed my eyes, and I opened them again to find that I was back in my bed. However this was a false awakening, and I wasn't lucid anymore at this point.

So yeah that was my first lucid dream in a while. It was pretty weird, but cool at the same time. Let me know what you think about it. Replies would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds epic! There are some great sceneries in your story, I can see them in my mind.

Congratulations on getting lucid again! Here's to more of them!

You're not going to master the rest of your life in one day. Just relax. Master the day. Then just keep doing that every day.

Thanks for the reply Also I can't wait to have more of them. I'm really happy it finally happened again I'll try to control the dream more in my fifth lucid dream. So far this is the most control I've ever had in a lucid dream. The other ones I had a long time ago I was only able to walk around with little to no control. So not only is this my first lucid in a long time, it's my first lucid that I had control in so that's two positives right there. Wish me luck in the future!

Cloud bending, cool! Pretty good dream control form a fourth-timer too You can do the same with all the other elements too like fire, earth, wind and water. Or with cosmos, metal, wood etc.

Haha it was pretty fun to control the clouds Also controlling other elements like that sounds amazing. I'll try controlling more things like that the next time I'm lucid dreaming. However, I remember years ago in another lucid dream I tried to create a fire ball in my hand by sort of flexing my muscles but nothing happened :/ should I just give a command to create fire sort of like when I commanded the clouds to move? Thanks for the reply

It works for some yeah, it takes some imagination. You could also move your hand through some fire and "grab" the fire into your hand. I'm not a fire bending expert, I'v always been more to the laser-beam/energy-beam side myself

Ok cool That sounds like an interesting way to do it. In my next lucid dream I'll try to command fire to show up. If not then I'll try grabbing some fire that's already present. Thanks for the advice

Do you mean for lucid dreaming or controlling the clouds? If you meant for lucid dreaming I just sort of went into a non lucid dream, and when people started calling me Harry I questioned whether or not I'm dreaming because that's not my name. As far as technique, everyday I perform reality checks and write in my dream journal and that's about it. no WBTB or WILD or MILD or any of that. As for cloud control, I just sort of yelled at the clouds to move out of the way and they did.

Well I'm not sure what advice to give for actually having another lucid dream. Sorry. I guess all I could say for you right now is next time you have a lucid dream, shout "give me clarity" so it won't be all green and blurry. That's all I got for you. Good luck my dude

Yeah that seems to be the case. It probably did happen at the end of your REM cycle. Don't worry though. You'll have a good lucid dreaming experience soon. Just believe yourself and be patient. Never doubt yourself
