      Question Dreaming about Lucid Dreaming?

Last night I had what might have been my second lucid dream. I used the WBTB method and I don't remember whether it worked or not or I just fell asleep, but in my dream, I remember doing a spontaneous reality check, being able to breathe through my nose, and "realizing" that I was in a dream. I did all kinds of cool stuff, attempted to have sex several times , and did some dream photography... but after I woke up, I wasn't sure if I was actually lucid or not. This is very frustrating for me, because it would be cool if I was aware I was dreaming, but it would totally suck if I just dreamt about lucid dreaming. I don't know what to think, has anybody else had a similar experience to this?

If you realized you are dreaming, it was a lucid. But yeah, sometimes it's not very clear if it was. I would say it was though.

This was a lucid dream. After your reality check failed, your behavior changed because you knew you were dreaming. I assume you wouldn't attempt to have sex in public if you didn't know you were dreaming.

There's also the chance you were semi-lucid. Where you kinda know you're dreaming but it's just in the back of your head. I agree with Dolphin though, it sounds like you were more lucid than not. I like to think of lucidity as an spectrum. Going from 0% lucidity (no clue you're dreaming) to 100% lucidity. When I find myself 100% lucid I know exactly where I'm sleeping, I will have a good idea of what time it is IRL, or even know which position I fell asleep in. Personally, most of my LDs seem to be around 80-90% lucidity (but these are just estimates on my own non-evidence based spectrum)

Weird enough, some weeks ago I had a similar experience
In the dream I was doing a reality check that failed but instead of breeding lucid I dreamed that I was lucid and I also had sex with many girls and then the dream continued like always. Super long dream by the way.
