      Fully aware lucid dream

I just had my first fully aware lucid dream and it was very interesting.

First of all, I do not have much lucid dream experiences. Maybe like 2 or 3 and most of them were very blurry.

but this one was very interesting because although I don't have much ld experiences, this dream was so vivid and I was fully aware that I was dreaming.

when I say I was fully aware I mean it wasn't like a dream but rather real life.

This experience was so weird because normally when you realize that you are dreaming, you realize it because there is something wrong in the dream that tells you that you are dreaming. Things like you are in a place you never visited, you are in 3rd person mode etc.

But this one however, I just knew that I was dreaming. Like I knew that I was sleeping on the bed and that I'm just having a lucid dream. Like as if I was out of body and exploring my own house.

I think I know what pro lucid dreamers dream like because this dream was so vivid and aware that rather than having a dream, it was more like doing a simulation in real life.

Believe me guys, there is a big difference between watching a pirated movie and watching it in a theater. So much difference...

Anyway... Keep trying! because it took me more than 5 years to achieve this. Also btw, MEDITATION is the key!

Yes, I was very lazy and I consistently lost motivation to keep practice frequently...

That sounds so good....iv had about maybe 30 or 40 lucids in total with only a handful that are near fully lucid.Im always interested lately in when people mention meditation.iv been doing meditating for 2 weeks now for 20-30mins a day.
How long have you been meditating for? And whats your type of meditation? For me i just focus on my breath and let thoughts come then let them go and return to my breath and at night i try a full body scan before sleep.
Sorry for the questions i just get really interested in the subject of lucid dreaming and meditation =D

I have been meditating for about a year now and my technique for meditation is just to notice my thoughts. So rather than focusing on breathing, I would try to be as mindful as possible (thinking nothing at all) and when I think of random thoughts, I would just acknowledge that I was distracted and come back to being mindful.
