Thread: 4th Realm, controling your dreams

Now what im about to say has not been tried or tested. I am still myself trying to atain controll over my LDs and although ive heard of loads of good ideas i never seem to remember them in the dream

Anyway first ill explain my thereo (Not relevant to actual metho but PLEASE read it will help abit.)

I believe that we are 4 dimentional creatures - our spirit - and that our body is only 3 dimentional. Our universe is 4 dimentional but its on the 3 dimentional skin we live on. Say there is a 2D creature: Mr Circle Now Mr circle is flat - if you have read flatland you will get my point - he actually lives on a ball which is 3D but does not relise this. If he keeps on walking he will eventually return to where he is, but of course he does not relise what is going on because he does not understand the concept of a Sphere. Mr Circle will end up in the same place 2dimentionaly but also 3 dimentionaly - he will end up on the same area of the ball and also the same point on the ball as a whole. It is the same with us. If a man went in a spaceship he would eventually end up at the same place - no one would live long enough though - but not only would he end up at the same place but he would end up at the same time - same 3 dimentional place and same 4 dimentional place - just before he left in his spaceship. I also believe that our dreams give us a glimps of the 4th dimention.

Now this method/tap into control has nothing to do what i believe in i just made it up on the way to school. I just thought i should put the first bit in anyway. I will proberly need to change this method and make it better. Or it may just seem like a waist of time to you people who can contol their dreams anyway.

Go to sleep, become Lucid.

Now first you must stop, look around and keep calm since the exitment may wake you. Look carefully at your surroundings, see how realistic they look. If your surrounding are not realistic then use a method to make them (rub hands, spin e.c.t
This may sound strange but you must also believe that everything you see is real. Understand that you have just falling asleep and woken up again but this time not in your normal 3d perspective which is forced upon us by our bodies, but we are 4 dimentional and have a 4d perspective. Look around you at all those 3 dimentional objects, now think we do not have to obey 3 dimentional rules: ill refer to the book flatland to help. Think of that little Mr circle again, if he lives on your piece of paper he will just slide around happily. Now draw a wall around him, 4 simple lines, box him in. He of course can not get past them since they are blocking him, but we being 3 dimentional can easily "step over" those walls (ana and kata) Now lets go back to our dream. If there are 3 dimentional soroundings but we are 4dimentional we dont have to be restricted we can just walk "through" the wall - like a 3d creature walking "through" a 2d wall.

How about flying. Since we already have the ability to move up and down we can do that anyway, but since we are 4d there are no restrictions at all, think of the air/space/sky as being another wall that we can now walk thorugh - dont litraly think it a wall because that may really make walls appear in the sky.

Now how about changing the sorroundings: back to Mr Square, we being 3D can see Mr squars insides!!!!!!!! WOWOWOOW but we dont need a knife to do that do we, we just use our 3rd dimentional hight to see "over" his skin. Now that means we can easilily change bits of him withough braking his initial structure. Same with a 3d structure only one dimentional higher, we see the insides of a 3d structure and at the same time its outer side as we are 4D.

Now if you are able to do these things and believe doing anything else like powers should come natural e.g we want to shoot fire out our hand, well then change the structure around you, change the air's moleular structure to make fire. Practice, this may sound hard and take long but if you do this and keep practicing you will do it faster. Everything else just make a exuse and beleive its to do with us being 4dimentional in a 3d plain.

This may sound confusing but it isnt. Ive never tried it and i hope to soon. It also may sound unessary to all you LD pwners but not to all. Pluss it sounds exiting and a cool way of percieving stuff.

Our dreams are only HAVE 4th dimensional, considering our dreams arwe half of our lifes in the 3 dimensional world. but im only 20% onto my theory, your is kickass

Oh the part about the actually dreaming bit is not a thereo i just made it up, i just beleive that we get a small hint of the 4dimention in our dreams not all! But thancks for the post and the "yours is kickass" bit Tell me about your thereo more!

Well, in our dreams we are able to do things we couldn't do in walking life (ex. 3rd dimension). but in our dreams we are able to defi gravity, make objects appear, and all in all, just p00n some noob. basicly, our dreams are 4th dimension. i belive when you die you become lucid, because maybe that would be heaven. geez lucid just owns trust me fighting dream sepiroth *and losing due to lack of flying skills* owns.

maybe this theory may help those that say they'r "too logical" to control their dreams... there is a post about this somewhere.

Are you saying that those "logical people" should read this to shut there stupid clever mouths as this is a logical theory ?

I'll be very interested to see if you (and more importantly others) have huge success with this method (more than conventional methods).
The fourth dimension (or fifth, seeing as time is a dimension) is, as yet unprovable. It is merely mathematical theory that has been rationalised in a way that can only really be made sense of in maths. Take your example of stepping through a solid object via the fourth dimension. To 3D beings, it looks like you're simply drifting through a wall, as a result of the 4th dimension being 'flattened' to 3. Herein lies the problem. As much as we can say 'ah yes, I see that he's stepping into the 4th dimension' all our senses are still telling us that he's simply moving through a 3D object as if it wasn't there. It is very difficult to visualise this extra dimension in our minds because we have no prior concept of it. All we can really do is acknowledge it's existence and effects.

Anyway, in relation to lucid dreaming, this seems no different to simply 'believing' that you're dreaming and can do whatever you like. It depends on how strongly you hold those beliefs that dictates it's effectiveness. If you wholeheartedly believe in a multidimensional universe, then you should have no problem in using it to gain lucid powers. Whether you will remember to do this whilst lucid is another question altogether

Na i see what he means . It doesnt matter what method you use since a dream is not real you can do anything. Its just that some people dont have the confidence in believing that
ALso the amount of dimentions there actualy is is proberly infintate exept of course it will start with 0 which is a universe with one thing only in it. I have a thereo that we were once 2 dimentional and that when we die we will live in the 4th dimention but who knows, it always depends on what your beliefs are.

no. i only say that logical people may use it as a "pseudo belief" to help themselves doing things in LDs

Damn Still no luck with LDing although i usually have an LD on weekends so i have only three more nights to wait! Ive been thinking about my tap in method and imagening that i am dreaming during life and trying to think how i can use my method to help me gain control. It aint easy! I cant get into the belief that i left my body and am 4d and just walking around like a OBE. Prehaps its easier to do in a dream!

Anyway keep those posts coming, if anyone has other 4dimentional theores or just dream theores state them! And next time you have a LD and are either a Lucid Pwner or a Lucid Noob try my method and see what happens!

I have another good idea what to do in a LD using the 4th dimention!

Think of a place (during a LD), a town square will probably be best, and go there.
There should be loads of people there. Now if you want some fun then imagin that all those people down there (if your flying which you should be doing in a LD anyway ) and imagin that they are also 4d people that have also woken in the 4th dimention like you have but just dont know so (kind of matrix type thing) these people are just dreaming normally. You then may imagin there are people who are flying around, these are the people who are LDing (took the red Pill ) Now if you believe in shared dreaming you could use this place as a meating pace for LDing. Say you found a friend in the crowd, that would mean that he/she was dreaming. Now if you try to convinve that dreamer hes dreaming (give him the red pill) prehaps a shared dream could happen *i dont believe in sheared dreaming* or you could just imagine you were having a sheared dream with an DC or just try to show off your Lucid skills to the dreamers.

My actual idea was much better when i thought of it at school but i forgot most of it!
