Ok i usually get HI sometimes, when I'm half asleep, i can close my eyes and still see my room. only it's my dream room. i can even look at my dream arms and move them around and stuff.

the problem is, I'm both aware of lying in my bed and aware of the dream at the same time. So the duality of the perception gets fuzzy and i lose the lucid. does anyone know what I'm talking about.

how do i stay in the dream without shifting back to my concious state?

Seems to me your reffering to a daydream kind of dreaming. Where youre not actually draming but imagining things.. I thing.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm trying to build up my skill in going into these HI trances so I can become a lucid daydreamer
I once had one of the dream images overlap into my normal waking field of vision. That was ****ing awesome, though most people would consider it a dangerous hallucination...

Longest time in a lucid dreamstate: ~6 seconds

Still, the most epic six seconds I have ever experienced...

it's not daydreaming. trust me i day dream a lot and this isn't a day dream. I'm pretty sure it's HI.

Edit: i know what you mean. i once hallucinated watching myself on a chair once. i got up from a trance induction, walked into my living room, and there i was, sitting. then it faded lol.

I think I have been in states like that before, but not recently or often, and they weren't lucid.

If you can see fine, and move around a little, you can probably perform techniques for increasing dream realism. In that state, the ones that work the best would probably be staring at your hands and attempting to see them in full detail, and rubbing your hands together and focusing on how that feels. Hopefully, this will cause your dream senses to intensify, and your real senses to fade away.
